The mobile app

Tekko Authenticator puts the queue and checklist in your pocket: Android today, iOS through Expo Go for now.

Tekko Authenticator is the field companion to the authentication operations module: the same queue, claim, checklist, and verdict flow, built for standing at the bench rather than sitting at a desk.

Android

The Android build is a direct APK, not a Play Store listing yet. It ships as a download attached to a GitHub release, so installing it means allowing your phone to install from outside the Play Store (an “unknown sources” prompt the first time). We’re not linking the download directly from here while it’s still an early-access build; ask us on WhatsApp or by email and we’ll send the current release.

iOS

There’s no App Store build yet. For now, iOS runs through Expo Go: install Expo Go from the App Store, then scan the app’s QR code to load it. It’s the real app, just launched through Expo’s client instead of its own icon on your home screen.

Server URL

The login screen has an “Advanced” section with a server URL field. It defaults to our production Bench address, and whatever you set it to is remembered on the device afterward, so you only deal with it once. The same field is visible again under Settings once you’re logged in, in case you ever need to point the app at a different Bench deployment.

Once you’re in

The app mirrors the web queue: Open, Mine, Escalated, and Completed tabs, claiming, the same 11-point checklist, and the same verdict screen, plus two things the web app doesn’t need: a camera-backed photo grid per checklist item, and local drafts. Checklist changes save to the device immediately as you make them and sync to the server in the background, so losing signal at the bench doesn’t lose your notes. Photos are deliberately soft-fail: if photo storage is briefly unavailable, you get a dismissable warning and the rest of the flow, checklist, verdict, certificate, keeps working regardless.
