Launch pricing, the free trial, and how to move up to a paid or Enterprise plan.
Bench is in early access, and the pricing reflects that: a 14-day free trial with no card required, so you can actually use the product before anyone’s billed.
The tiers
- Starter, Rs 999 or $19 a month: jobs and GST-ready invoicing, up to 3 users. Enough to run the day-to-day of a small shop.
- Pro, Rs 2,499 or $49 a month: everything in Starter, plus 25 certificates a month included, additional certificates at Rs 200 or $3 each, and unlimited users.
- Enterprise, talk to us: for shops or labs running the authentication-operations module properly, with the mobile authenticator app for your bench team and rollout across multiple locations.
Prices are shown in both INR and USD; you’re billed in whichever currency matches your shop’s country.
Why the tiers are shaped this way
Jobs and invoicing sit in the cheapest tier on purpose: getting a shop off paper and onto Bench shouldn’t be the hard decision. Certificates are where the paid tiers diverge, since a certificate is a standing, publicly verifiable claim your shop makes, not just a record for your own books, and that’s the part worth pricing on its own.
Trial and cancellation
The trial runs 14 days with no card on file. You can cancel at any time during early access, there’s no lock-in being tested alongside everything else.
How to upgrade
There’s no self-serve upgrade button yet, this is one of the few places early access still means a manual step. Contact us and tell us which plan you want; we’ll move your shop over ourselves, usually the same day. The same goes for Enterprise: since it covers rollout details like number of locations and users, that conversation happens directly rather than through a form.
We’d rather be upfront that this step is manual today than build a fake self-serve flow that quietly still routes to a human anyway.
